PASATIEMPO KITCHEN

A kitchen remodel was planned for five years later, but an unfortunate (and large) leak from an old refrigerator changed the timetable. After considering the costs and impact to family life of doing two remodels, we convinced the client to move up the full remodel rather than do a quick fix with the insurance money. Who wants to live through a remodel twice? We reversed the flow of the kitchen so it opened up a larger living area. The husband has a bad ankle from multiple surgeries, so it was essential to incorporate a chair-height bar top on the island. Our cabinetmaker custom-designed beautiful walnut cabinetry and we searched far and wide to find the perfect marble for waterfall countertops. An unexpected timetable, but a beautiful finish!
